Wendy Pringle is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Registered Play Therapist and Certified Animal Assisted Play Therapist. She lives in Roy, WA and has 25 years of experience working with children, adults and families, specializing in working with children ages 4-14. Wendy is also trained in AutPlay® and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Her work has included Head Start, community mental health, clinical supervision for therapists and the position of Director for Pediatric Healthcare Integration. She has an AAS in Early Childhood Education, a BA in Human Development and MA in Counseling Psychology. Bailey is an AKC registered shih tzu who has completed her AKC Therapy Dog Title. Bailey combines her playfulness with a calm, gentle nature to provide a supportive, welcoming and fun space for children engaged in therapy services. She loves people, treats, and tummy rubs. In addition to their AAPT work, Wendy and Bailey have volunteered with hospice and a children’s reading program at the library. Wendy volunteers with a group to support those who are learning to provide visitation to hospitals and nursing homes with their pets.
