Marisol is a licensed clinical psychologist with a deep passion for helping children and adolescents discover the tools and safe space they need to feel better about themselves, become more empowered, and navigate everyday life with greater confidence. She offers this support primarily through Play Therapy, a therapeutic approach she fell in love with during her psychology studies and has continued to cultivate ever since.
With more than 15 years of professional experience, Marisol has worked closely with children facing serious illnesses such as cancer and HIV, experiences that have shaped her path and enriched her perspective as a therapist.
She was born and raised in Mexico City and is currently based in Madrid, Spain. Living abroad has given her a deeper sense of gratitude and appreciation for the people and opportunities around her. One of her greatest sources of support is Pippo, her five-year-old black Lab, who has been by her side since he was a puppy. Together, they can accompany your child or adolescent through Animal Assisted Play Therapy.
Marisol holds a Master’s degree in Psycho-Oncology and is a certified Play Therapist as well as a Gestalt Therapist.
